Uyemura-Solar Co. Ltd. was established in 1986 when a joint venture was formed between two leaders of the surface finishing industries, C. Uyemura & Co. Ltd. of Japan and Solarbrite Co. Ltd. of Hong Kong.

In 1915, C. Uyemura & Co. Ltd. has already started to develop the chemical materials and know-how for electroplating. Over the decades, it has earned a wealth of experience in pioneering a wide range surfacing finishing needs, including the latest equipment and technology that the market can offer. On November 1997, C. Uyemura & Co. Ltd. was officially listed on the second section of the Osaka Stock Exchange. Solarbrite Co. Ltd. was founded in Hong Kong in 1973 by the industry experts of the surface finishing field. Since 1985, Solarbrite Co. Ltd. has been devoting themselves in the production and marketing of spray coating process, with related equipment as well as chemical materials, focusing on Hong Kong and the China markets.

Since its establishment C. Uyemura & Co. Ltd. has been striving to be the leader in the R&D and production of the chemical materials and facilities for electroplating and other surface finishing processes. Our continuous effort has resulted in a wide array of the latest technology and equipment of the industry, such as fully computerized plating equipment, Ucon fully automated continuous plating equipment, computer programmed electroplating production lines and automated solution controllers. To better cope for the growing needs in China, Hong Kong and other major Asian markets, our new sales office has been set up in Vietnam and scheduled to open in the second half year 2009.
